Oh, Hey Again!

What’s up everybody! Welcome back to another blog post. This one is definitely one of my favorites so far, and I say that almost every time, but I swear I mean it! Want to see what we’re so excited about?!

I’m so excited I just can’t wait. Let’s jump right in!

Ambassador Highlight

Today’s Ambassador Highlight is Jessenia Zapata. Jessenia has been an ambassador with us for so long, and her constant support for us has not gone unnoticed. We love everything she does for us which is why we’ve decided to brag about her for a bit. So, here’s Jessenia Zapata.

Jessenia is currently 26 years old. She was born in L.A. and was raised in San Jose, California by her lovely parents. She’s still currently in San Jose and is so excited about her future. However, that doesn’t mean she isn’t focusing on the now. Her goal is to provide a greater quality of life for her and others around her at all times.

She originally found LAKI off of the explorer page on Instagram, and by October of 2020 she was an ambassador (yay!). Her favorite part about working with LAKI has not only been the amazing active-wear, but also the supporting and empowering community of which we provide. Jessenia loves that LAKI constantly engages with our supporters and provides help for physical and mental well-being.

Jessenia started her fitness journey at 19. Along the way she’s gained a new self-love and has grown to be so much more confident. She’s stronger-not only physically-but also mentally. Fitness isn’t the only thing Jessenia is up to though. Lately she’s been exploring her creative side by playing guitar, drawing, making DIY crafts, and getting into home decor as well. She loves thinking outside of the box and creating something special.

The last thing Jessenia wanted to leave us was this, “My mom’s mantra till this day that I always say is Querer es Poder. This means if you have the will to do something you are capable of achieving it. It’s never too late to start anything you set your mind to!” Which here at LAKI we could not agree more. Whatever you set your mind to, you can do. It may take time, and a lot of effort, but it’s all possible!
